We have a wide variety of quality bikes for hire including Mountain bikes (front suspension and full suspension), Tourers, Tandems and Recumbents, plus Child carriers, Trailerbikes, Trailers and Kiddyseats. We are situated in truly rural countryside offering a wide variety of cycling experiences. There are miles of quiet country lanes through the rolling countryside of Herefordshire and the Border Counties. The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley has plenty to offer the off road enthusiast and some challenging routes for the more adventurous. For even more demanding rides you can visit the rugged Welsh Hills of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. We can offer advice on suitable routes and also offer a service for those who wish to tackle longer rides like Lon Las Cymru (Route 8) Chepstow or Cardiff to Holyhead or the Celtic Trail running along South Wales and eventually to Fishguard. You can take the arguments out of following our route instructions by having a guide. Our experienced guides will show you the best routes, find you the best terrain and even point you in the direction of the best pubs! Day or half day rides can be arranged to meet your needs. Cycling activities for School and Youth groups can also be provided.
We are particularly keen to help everyone enjoy cycling. We are able to supply a wide range of equipment for all the family together with special equipment and adaptions to accommodate a variety of special needs. We will be happy to help assess your needs and advise you on the most suitable equipment. We stock a wide range of trailers, trailerbikes, electric bikes, tricycles, kiddyseats and much more. We also have a range of car carriers to help you get your bikes around safely. You are welcome to try before you buy by visiting us at the Pedalabikeaway Cycle Centre in The Royal Forest of Dean.
If you are planning to hire our bikes for a cycling holiday we can provide advice on routes, supply maps and even take the weight off your bike and transport your luggage from one accommodation to the next. We will even move your car for you so you have more choice in the evenings or on non cycling days.
